Student Expectations – What students are expected to do

Castle Rock High School will be closed from 3.40pm on Friday 20th March until further notice, to all students but children of key workers. From Monday 23rd March, students working from home are expected to visit the school website and access the materials that have been set by their teachers for that particular day.

The expectations are that;

  • Teachers will set tasks for you to complete each week.
  • All tasks will be uploaded to OneDrive and can be accessed by clicking the subject links in the home schooling timetables below.
  • Students are expected to read the instructions from their teachers carefully, and apply themselves fully, in
    order to complete all of the work that has been set.
  • We expect all students to bring their completed work in to school once the school reopens.

Study Timetable During School Closure

Step 1.  Click on a link to open the work document(s) - students will be prompted to enter their Castle Rock email address and password, before the document can be viewed. Email addresses are in the format LastnameFirstname@castlerock.leics.sch.uk and passwords are the same as those used to log on to the school computers.

Step 2.  Some work has been set using the Seneca Learning e-learning service, in which case students will need to sign up for a Seneca Learning account using their school email address and a password of their choosing.
