Castle Rock High School operates a "cashless catering" system in our dining hall. This means that students pay for their food purchases using a personal electronic account which can be topped up in school with cash, or online via debit or credit card.
You can make online card payments to your child's account via the 'School Gateway' smart phone app or website, with the facility to view school meal balances and add funds at any time. You can also use the School Gateway to pay for residential trips that your child may participate in.
Other benefits of the School Gateway system include;
- your child doesn't have to carry cash, eliminating the chances of it being lost
- parents can view their child's purchase history online
- you can be sure that dinner money is being spent on healthy food in school, rather than at the sweet shop.
To register yourself with the School Gateway;
Visit the website: www.schoolgateway.com and click on the ‘New User’ tab.
You'll need to provide the email address and mobile phone number that the school has on record for you.
You’ll receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to login to School Gateway.
Download the app: If you have a smart phone, please download School Gateway from your app store (Android and iPhone). The app shows the same information as the website and will also save the school money when we send text messages.
If you’re having trouble logging in, it may be because the school doesn’t have your current email and mobile phone number on record. Please call the school and we’ll update the details on our system.
