General Election 2017

Castle Rock students and staff got political with their own General Election.

On June 8th 2017, the same day as the country went to vote in the general election, students and staff voted in Castle Rock's very own election.

The final result was surprisingly familiar, ending with a hung parliament! The school, however, gave Labour the most votes, rather than the Conservatives.

A big well done to Charlie Collins for helping to organise the election and to Rhianne Cross, Beth Cave and Amber Bryan who acted as our polling clerks and vote counters.

The Results
Labour 29%
Green 26%
Conservatives 19%
Liberal Democrats 17%
Spoilt ballots 2%
Turnout 63.5%
