Students went on a 4 day trip to visit World War One battlefields and cemeteries in Belgium and France, mainly focusing upon Ypres, Passchendaele, Neuve Chapelle and the Somme. They witnessed the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate and even got a chance to chat with the Blue Peter team who were filming there. On Sunday night they went to a local theatre to watch a production of 'Journeys End' that helped to understand the thoughts and feelings men experienced in the trenches.
