Children in Need 2017

Castle Rock supported BBC's Children in Need, Friday 17th Nov

On Friday 17th November the traditional Castle Rock uniform was replaced with a sea of spots and bright colours, as students and staff participated in a special non-uniform day in aid of the Children in Need charity.

Numerous fund raising events were held during the day, including a "Where's Pudsey" competition during mentor time, a spotty cookie bake sale, and staff vs students sports matches.

Although everybody was bright and spotty, the outfits collectively worn by the RWi/KC mentor group meant that they won the award of "Most Colourful Mentor Group" on the day!

After all of the donations were counted up, we were extremely pleased to have raised a whopping £852.56 for this great cause - thank you to all students, staff, parents and carers that donated or sent in money.
