Castle Rock:
Castle Rock High School is a state secondary school for pupils aged between eleven and fourteen years of age. It serves an extensive area which includes the eastern and northern parts of Coalville together with the expanding village of Whitwick and other adjacent housing areas.
The school shares a picturesque campus with King Edward VII Community College, to which pupils transfer at 14+ and Warren Hills Primary, one of our four main feeder schools. It lies on a sloping western edge of Charnwood Forest enjoying an impressive aspect to the west over its extensive playing fields and the town of Coalville.
